OYT has a variety of dance programs including; acro, ballet, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, step dancing, tap AND MORE!
Musical Theatre Program
Musical theatre is a form of theatre combining songs, spoken dialogue, singing and dance. The emotional content of the piece – humor, pathos, love, anger – as well as the story itself, is communicated through the words, music, movement and technical aspects of the entertainment as an integrated whole.
Competitive Dance Program
Competitive dance is a popular, widespread activity in which competitors perform dances in any of several permitted dance styles—such as acro, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, modern, and tap—before a common group of judges.
“On Your Toes Performing Arts Centre Competitive Team” is dedicated in building well-rounded dancers, to build children’s confidence as well as to build a strong team spirit.

Yoga Program
Yoga originates from the language Sanskrit and it means "union" or "merger". And the essential purpose of it is to achieve a stable balance between the mind and the body and to also to achieve self-enlightenment. And to accomplish this, yoga applies movement, breathing, pose, relief and meditation as various means of maintaining a healthy, lively and balanced approach to life.
Belly Dancing Program
Middle Eastern Dance designed for the female body. It is firm and earthy, traditionally with bare feet connected to the ground. Bellydance is a non-impact, weight-bearing exercise and is thus suitable for all ages. Many of the moves involve isolations, which improves flexibility of the torso and provides great strength in the core.

Karate and Self Defense Programs
Classes focuses on self defense as well as confidence, discipline, respect and tradional training in Martial Arts. Children's classes are emphasized on street proofing, anti-bullying, as well as the importance of regular exercise and proper nutrition.
Students study GOJU-RYU KARATE - KOBUDO (WEAPONS)
Zumba Program
Zumba combines Latin and international music in dance routines featuring aerobic and fitness interval training done to a combination of fast and slow rhythms. It was developed by Colombian fitness trainer Beto Perez over a decade ago. A great way to have fun and get into shape! We have children and adult programs!
Step Dancing Program
Step dance is the generic term for dance styles where the footwork is the most important part of the dance. Body and arm movements and styling are either restricted or considered irrelevant.
Step dancing can include include tap, clogging, Canadian step dance, Cape Breton step dance, some forms of Scots and English folk dance and Malambo from Argentina!
